Dinosaur Gallery Reconfiguration Natural History Museum

Location: London
Services: Cost Management
Value: £360,000
Completion: February 2016

This project involved layout changes to the Dinosaur Gallery to remove the queue from the Hintze Hall and incorporate a large portion of it within the Dinosaur Gallery itself. This now allows visitors to experience the Dinosaur Gallery whilst queuing. Visitors are able to see the animatronic T-Rex whilst queuing and also, for the first time, they are given the opportunity to ‘skip’ the T-Rex, if they wish to, and proceed to the rest of the gallery. This way, visitors can shape and tailor their visit increasing visitor satisfaction.

Fraser Randall were appointed to undertake the cost management services for this project which completed in February 2016.
