This permanent exhibition explores the history of the Flying Scotsman and personal stories of those people whose lives it influenced. The Flying Scotsman exhibition showcases the locomotive and uses state of the art interactive technology to bring together a range of specially commissioned audio-visual displays and historic film footage of the Flying Scotsman showing aspects of the services from the past eighty years.
