AirspaceImperial War Museum, Duxford Fraser Randall was appointed by the Imperial War Museum to act as the exhibition Project and Construction Manager for the AirSpace Exhibition Project at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. The exhibition is housed within the existing Hanger 1 and provides over 12,000sqm of exhibition space, including the historic aircraft which are displayed both on the ground floor and suspended from the ceiling, plus an interactive display about the aircraft, concentrating on how they fly and what they are made of. This project required Fraser Randall to provide a permanent dedicated site management team for five months to manage intricate basebuild interfaces and a phased fit out schedule to suit changing basebuild timings.
