Dino Birds
Natural History Museum, London
2002, £400k
Fraser Randall was appointed to act as Project and Construction
Managers by the Natural History Museum for the Dinobirds touring
exhibition.
This deeply immersive exhibition revealed the connection between
dinosaurs and modern day birds in our gardens, through a series
of very special previously unseen fossils from China.
Acting as the Principal Contractor, Fraser Randall was responsible
for the placing and co-ordination of a number of bespoke packages
for the set works, interactives, lighting, audio visual and graphic
works including all sub-contractor and site co-ordination. In addition
the company worked closely with the designers
and the NHM in developing a modular system that enabled differing
layout permutations for venues including the variations in the
provision of services, to be achieved as well as all freighting
and touring casing. |
