Museum of London Retail & Catering Development Project

Museum of London
2009, £1.3 million

Fraser Randall was appointed as the Project Manager for the Museum of London’s new Retail & Catering re-development. To coincide with the Galleries of Modern London and Learning Centre Project, the refurbishment of the museum’s 20th Century galleries, the museum has updated all the front of house areas including the Entrance Hall, a new Entrance Café, a new Shop, a Schools Picnic area and a new Bar Kitchen as a destination venue for the local area.

The works were split into three phases and were carefully timed and implemented according to school holidays, high revenue periods, the main Project, Christmas events and various other temporary exhibition openings.

Fraser Randall was responsible for the design management, contractor procurement and contract administration of the works, completed in October 2009.
