Fraser Randall was appointed as the
Construction Manager and Cost Consultant for the £8million
fit out of the 6,500sqm World Museum Liverpool and the Walker
Gallery for National Museums Liverpool.
Designed by Jasper Jacob Associates in partnership
with Reich & Petch
Design International Ltd, Fraser Randall took the designs and
managed, procured, co-ordinated and oversaw multiple package
contractors for all aspects of varied and specialist works during
the project’s two year build programme.
The project involved the management of the relocation of 17,500
objects by the client curatorial and conservation team in both
the main museum and the Walker Gallery. All showcases were environmentally
monitored and fabricated to full conservation requirements.
