River & Rowing Museum
Henley-Upon-Thames
1998, £2.8 million
Fraser Randall was responsible for the exhibition
Design and Project Management for this museum dedicated to the River
Thames and the history of rowing.
The project involved close collaboration with
the base build contracting team, and the architect, David Chipperfield.
Design programmes were structured for each
design discipline of the project and a staggered approval process
allowed the three galleries to develop to completion exactly as
programmed, even though limited curatorial resource was available.
